“Positive Great value, excellent food, lovely setting, good pool, attentive helpful staff. Not so positive No wifi in room 112. No sparkle in the sparkling water dispenser outside the room. ROAM is not a user friendly car charging app.”

“Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional……

“Absolutely beautiful hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfy. The only criticism is that £50 to use the pool and spa etc is absolutely extortionate…. Most hotels let hotel guests use these facilities for free, some higher end ones may charge around £10 or so which is fine….. but £50 is an absolute rip off. You can get 3 months gym membership for that. It is fleecing customers and made me not want to spend any more money in there like at the bar or restaurant etc. ”

Food excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. Great service from check in to leaving. Will definitely be back when we next visit family in the north west. ”

“The staff is very helpful. The room size is big for family room but the interior decoration is old. The hotel garden is very nice and is a wedding venue thought the location is quite remote and no any other restaurants or stores available.”

“We have just got home from a wonderful night at Ash farm . Fantastic service from Janice David and Christian they could not do enough for us. Our room was lovely we had the garden room. Not overly big but very quaint The setting is so beautiful.i would highly recommend here to anyone . Our only negatives and they are only small is we'd have liked it if they'd had 1 dog friendly room and the garden room is beautiful but it backs onto the breakfast room. So a little noisy from 7 this wouldn't……
