“We had the best stay, staff was very helpful and friendly, the food very good. The only improvement should be on the room’s curtains, the space with the single bed didn’t have any curtain and the ones in the main room were not very light proofed.”

“Delightful, historical inn right next to Clark Island Preserve. Lovely wee walks on the shore and to the old quarry. Minimal light pollution at night allows for terrific stargazing. Rooms are on the small side, but thoughtfully designed. Included breakfast was delicious, with fresh made biscuits and a nice selection of offerings. Only slight negative is the slow WiFi, but maybe it's okay to take a break from streaming and read a book!”

“We very much enjoyed this well-located and appointed cottage and appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to a request for grilling materials and the Guest Contact for her responsiveness. Two minor concerns: a stove with oven would have expanded our food prep options, and finding the address on GPS was impossible - only after calling her did Contact email a special map to show us how to get to the cottage. ”

“The photos don't even begin to do justice to this house! Everything about our stay was excellent! Great location, great vibe, great stay! We even used the kayaks and grill, both of which were in perfect working order......a real rarity at a rental property. I can't speak to the quality of the TV because we never even turned it on in the 5 days that we were in Owls Head. I have already started recommending this place to everyone who will listen to me!”

“This is a beautiful property with so many areas to enjoy the weather. We loved watching the lobster boats and wildlife. The evenings were spent drinking coctails beside the firepit. A great place to spend a week in the heat of the summer. ”
