“Excellent location. Stayed in same room November 2024 and reported plumbing problem. This was still evident on our recent visit. Had to ask 3 times to get our room serviced which was not done on 1st day. Plentiful breakfast but problem with keeping it warm. (dont like cold scrambled egg!) Breakfast room understaffed. Trading on location but needs better management”

“Can’t fault our stay at the sea trout, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room was fine, not anything special but lovely and clean. We were staying in the area for a wedding, without a car it’s quite hard to get around although the hotel were really helpful with providing local taxis. If you’re staying here, would recommend eating in the restaurant, the food was amazing! Would recommend”

The staff were so friendly and the food was incredible, there was a real homely feel to the place and the grounds are stunning. Easy parking too which is a plus. It’s only a 3 minute drive from a petrol station too. We recommend: - ordering the “ultimate burger” - saving room after dinner for one of their ice cream sundaes - ordering a local cider and sitting on the swing bench in the garden”

“Simply amazing! Spacious, comfortable, beautiful finishing touches throughout, fully equipped kitchen, easy parking, masses of wardrobe space, and generous sized bathrooms. Centrally located for the shops, beaches, pubs, restaurants and the railway station. Even when we had a small issue with the hot water, this was resolved by a quick phone call and dealt with immediately. We never visit the same place twice but in this case, we would make an exception.”
