“Great little place for a night away with kids, basic but comfortable. The thing we loved was the little courtyard with plenty of tabkes and chairs outside the cabins where you could see your child playing on the play equipment whilst chilling. Only stayed in the basic cabin and didnt upgrade to the princess rooms but from what we could see, it was a much better set up in these to be able to keep a close watch on you child. Made it a relaxing stay and would defo use again.”

“Anything you read about the property being a bit dated... It is indeed true. But honestly, the place is perfectly fine! The beds were comfy, the place is clean, the staff are absolutely lovely. If I paid more I would expect more, but the price is good value I think! Especially given the small spa facilities. ”

“I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! “I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! ”

“Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. ”
