“Beds are comfortable and there are tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. Car parking is easy. They provide a fan which was useful as the traffic is a bit noisy to have the window open. Curtains are very thin so the room is light from early morning. They don’t offer a cooked breakfast on Wednesday or Thursday mornings but there is a continental choice of toast, pastries, cereal and yoghurt. “The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. ”

“What a lovely property with lovely hosts. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is just great! Full English, whatever you like, loads of options like cereals, crumpets, breakfast bars, fruit, yoghurts, waffles to name a few. Hosts attentive and eager to please while being friendly too. Room was very nice with big sliding window and smart TV with the usuals like Netflix and Prime (bring your own accounts!). Wifi in rooms good too and beds are super comfy with 2 good pillows each as……

“Had such a wonderful stay. I am cycling the Devon C2C and Exeter is my starting base. Ken was super helpful and let me lock my bike in a locked room. The bed is extremely comfortable and my room is lovely. The location is perfect. Would throughly recommend. ”
