“We stayed in Executive Super King room. We had a very spacious comfortble bed, sofa, tea/coffee making facilities. Separate shower/toilet with toiletries. I did not notice if there was a safe in the room. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and lovely presentation. We had to fill a Form for breakfast the night before which is fine as there would be no food wastage. My only concern was they held £50 which did not clear my account until after 4 day. “The check in experience was great, really friendly reception staff explained everything. Room was good size, nice and clean. Only complaint would be was top warm and window quite old and stiff to open. We had a drink in the bar and the service was atrocious!!! If we hadn't been staying there we would have walked out. “The hotel is situated a short walk outside of Ludlow, about 10 minutes walk from the castle and over a stone bridge. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. My room had a view of the castle. A good breakfast was included in the price. The hotel has a bar which was open in the afternoon. There was no lift in the hotel, which is a problem with heavy luggage as I was on the 2nd floor.”
