“Convenient for the Haynes Museum and The Air museum. The rooms not as nice as we expected. Very dark and dated. The toilet was loose on the floor and there was no hot water in the sink, our room didn’t have curtains but shutters which meant if you made it private you couldn’t have any fresh air and it was very hot! Breakfast was okay. Beautiful wisteria growing in the courtyard ”

“This is an old-fashioned tavern with an inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, as were the local patrons. The included breakfast consisted of fresh fruits, cured meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, toast, juice, milk, etc. We ate dinner at their restaurant the night we arrived and it was tasty traditional English food. I had a very nice fish and chips while my wife had a delicious meat pie. The beds were a bit soft for my liking, but I slept comfortably. I could do without the green……

“Nice country pub, room for solo occupant just right with comfortable bed, although would have liked a chair rather than stool. Good sized shower. Tv had internet connection. Good meals without being fancy and interesting beers”

Continental breafast, all fresh ingredients, melon, grapes, orange, yoghurt, croissant well presented on a plate. Busy little pub, lots going on. Beer garden. ”

“A short stay on the way to Devon for our anniversary. The hotel Good breakfast well cooked and good choice of cerials, fruit etc. Decor a little tired and dated needing a refresh The carpets in the room, stairs and coridors need deep cleaning or replacement. ”

“Despite the proprietor being busy serving in the pub, he greeted me, booked me in and directed me to my room. He requested and noted the time I required breakfast the following day. Next morning, he greeted me and directed me to the breakfast room, when he took my order and served up a perfectly cooked meal within a most acceptable time. An excellent experience.”
