“We had a fantastic stay at Sugar Boat on our way up to the Highlands. The room was very comfortable, the staff were amazing and the food was great! Would definitely recommend! ”

“Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. Quiet area within walking distance of the train station 10 mins max and a lovely marina across……

“Always a very clean and tidy rooms”

“Stayed one night on business. Room clean and tidy, good sized walk in shower. Down side only 2 single sockets, one for the television other one had to use for Kettle and charging phone and tablet. Not very practical ”

“Really friendly and helpful staff. The bed was super comfortable, the shower excellent. The double glazing really helped dull the sound of the church clock that chimes every 15 minutes, so we couldn't sleep with the windows open, which we would have done usually. Great location.”

“The room was very well decorated, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was a letdown. They should have put some yoghurts and pastries. I understand they are vegetarians, but I like to eat eggs in the morning. No beans either. Sorry, but you can't just have it one way. A hotel should cater for all, otherwise you should put very clearly that is vegetarian only. ”
