The pool area is sprawling and we never felt a crowd for any experience or meal.
The ocean / beach isn't quite the same as most of the Cancun resorts but the pool area makes up for that.

“I think it is a property that should have more exposure. There is nice long clean beaches that has trees and shade. The beach doesn't have waves. Which makes it swimable out front. They have lifeguards. I didnt know that there has activities include like the waterpark, catamaran, and two water pools in the jungle. The food is amazing, you dont sign the room number. No beach vendors. Many a places to drink and eat. Amazing food no buffet.”
“Property is beautiful and conveniently laid out. The rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Great gym. Would have liked more dining options and pricing is somewhat excessive especially for food and drinks at the pool. Definitely recommend Casa Abuela. The staff was super efficient and could not have been nicer.”
“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“Beautiful property, secluded, great pools and restaurants, friendly staff. Good location to be able to visit Mayan ruins. The only downside is a relatively small beach.
Bikes are available to ride around the property. We never had to wait for anything (spa reservation, tennis reservation, restaurant, etc)”
“The service in this resort is exceptional. The staff are very nice and super friendly. The rooms are typical Hacienda style, spacious and beautiful. The resort has limited dining options but the food is great.
The pool area services are great. They have good entertainment for kids and few for adults.
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing resort this place is for you.
The beach however is not the typical Cancun beach and there are a lot of seaweed and sometimes the smell can be too much.
