“Wonderful host who couldnt do enough booked a suite but one wasnt available so gave us 2 free drinks from the bar. Bed was the comfiest ive found at a hotel in years and all lovely and clean too would not hesitate to stay again”

“We stayed 2 nights in a 2nd floor room over looking the courtyard. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast had a good variety, nice and hot & cooked well which is not always the case for buffet style breakfasts. The location is good for the Peak District. Plenty of parking & although due to weather we were not able to enjoy it, the outside area was very pretty. The bathroom could benefit from a little work. Overall Good Location, welcome staff, excellent breakfast.”
