“Clean room, friendly staff, a great option if you don’t want to stay in the French Quarter ”

“The Monteleone is a New Orleans institution, known for its quiet elegance and the famous Carousel Bar. The hotel is spotless, the furnishings elegant and timeless. All of the staff went out of their way to be friendly and engaging. In an area that is as tawdry and touristy as the French Quarter, the hotel manages to maintain its beauty and dignity. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and hope to return. The only drawback, is that the Carousel Bar was full from opening until closing, with……

“Lots of character and excellent location. Outside needs sprucing up, and grout in shower needs attention as well as the door handle to the room. It’s falling off. The deadbolt locks the door, so the handle is not really functional, but it’s a bad look. The devil is in the details. ”

“Nice, clean room. Our floor was pretty quiet while we were there. We didn't use the amenities since we were only there one night, but the fitness center looked great and the indoor atrium was quite pleasant and elegant.”
