“Great host and a very pleasant room. We had the room with the private garden, which would be super, if it had been a tad warmer. The restaurant recommendation (which came through after booking)was very helpful, along with other useful info on the local area. ”

“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views……

“Beautiful B&B. Room was delightful and so spacious. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, finding us books and information to enhance our trip. You could feel their warmth and felt that they enjoyed hosting. Really lovely people. Breakfast was excellent in your own private space, every thing you could need or want was there. The gardens are beautiful to enjoy and the building stunning. Highly recommend.”
