“Set in a rural location, this is a quaint pub with accommodation. We stayed one night; room and bathroom was very clean and all that we needed. Loved the walk in shower. Breakfast was good, staff friendly.”

“Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. ”

“Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off.”

“Staff, food, wine, accommodation all excellent. Very individual customer focused. Well worth the cost. Could do with some renovations which are likely to follow (broken uneven paving) otherwise nicely maintained. A relaxed stay. Perhaps breakfast quality could improve a shade and bath with shower over a bit basic for this pitch. But overall great. ”

“Great room, with lots of extras - mini fridge with fresh milk and cold water, coffee maker, good selection of teas/coffees/biscuits, Dyson fan, lovely toiletries. Comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff with great restaurant downstairs with GF options, large car park. Would definitely stay again.”

“Comfortable stay is a period property in beautiful grounds. Only 2 downsides to spoil the perfection - fire alarm fault at 2300 on 1st night and a tiny kipper fillet at breakfast in the morning otherwise faultless.”
