“This was a one night stop over only so hard to make fair judgements. But after an exhausting day the large comfortable bed and bedding were very welcome. Our room was noisy though from the adjoining room with the sound from the TV on from 7am when we were desperate for a lie in. We had no shower products in the bathroom and the flush on the toilet was dodgy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and adequate - just need to keep supplies topped up. “A clean and comfortable place to stay for the night. Rather late check-in, and early check-out, to accommodate the owners, who do not live on the premises. Breakfast was not included but we were given a good recommendation. Staff friendly and helpful and a very reasonable price.”

“A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”

“This is a little gem to find - excellent accomadation and staff along with Quiet surroundings Food id second to none with a wide range for starters and main meal.Rooms are tastefully done with all the usual requirements and fresh milk is from a vacuum flask so its all fresh. Toilets are spotlessly clean and well laid out along with general condition is very good.Thank you and well done to all.”
