“This hotel is of a top standard that many hotels could learn from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. This hotel is the perfect half way stop between Aberdeen and the Midlands. Room was excellent. Service faultless. Restaurant and food top quality. Limited food choice but all top quality selection for all tastes. We loved this hotel. “We have stayed here before. The staff are great, food is good and there is plenty of space. The location is perfect in this lovely town. Dog friendly and human friendly too. It is an old hotel but that adds character not detracts from it. Highly recommend. ”

“We enjoyed our one night stay whilst up at Hadrian's Wall. Gary, Carol and their staff were very friendly, the service was great, the room was very comfortable and the food was excellent in the charming restaurant. Minor confusion on arrival about our booking was quicky resolved without issue (computer problem / booking platform) i.e. what room we had booked and what was included in our booking. Room 5 was spacious, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean with French doors onto a small……
