“The hotel was slightly above average only because the staff I interacted with were all amazingly friendly, accommodating, knowledgable, and helpful. That's where the "qvove average" ends. Issues: 1) As Hotels.com usually does feom my experience - they screwed up the reservation. I was traveling with a friend, requiring two queen beds, and this is what I booked thru Hotels.com. “What a fun place to stay. Built in the 1890s with beautiful Victorian architecture and charm. We enjoyed a walk around the gorgeous forest flanked lake. Tastefully has modern conveniences. Located near town. Highly recommend. ”

“Check in and check out were great. Fast and easy. Our room was clean and ready. We did have a couple issues with housekeeping. We had a 4 night stay. Our bed was only made once. We got clean towels every day but they forgot a bath mat. Also we ran out of kleenex. I took the box out and sat it on the counter so they would see it was empty. No kleenex at all. The box sat there for 3 days. Other than those few issues, our stay was pretty good. Breakfast was good also.”
