“This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. The purpose of my trip was birding, so please be advised that I speak from this perspective, and fancy accommodations and other excursions were not important to me during this stay. “Hotel très sympathique, dans un très beau parc avec un pont suspendu . Notre chambre était tout en bas du parc, près de la rivière, ce qui était particulièrement agréable . Grande chambre avec un grand balcon et un hamac. Possibilité de se balader dans des petits chemins dans ce domaine. Petit déjeuner correct, avec vue sur les oiseaux, beaucoup de fruits et des pancakes .”

“Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. The knowledge that Jorge and Herman transferred to me made the stay enjoyable: on toucons, on fungi, on bees.”

Ich wartete somit bis er seine Schicht hatte, um Fragen zu stellen. Denn bei den anderen gab es keine Motivation. Zimmer sind gross (Familienzimmer), Pool ist Standard. “Pierre, our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omelette while watching birds at the feeding stations. The gardens were very enjoyable. Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance. ”
