“Lovely hotel !! The service was excellent throughout and the room lovely. The food in the upper deck was fantastic and the drinks on the lawn were very enjoyable. Only small gripe was that the room was extremely hot and the wedding guests from the wedding that was also going on were very loud below the room so we could not open the window. Would definitely return”

“This is a lovely hotel in the perfect location for a visit to Christchurch. The premier room we had was huge and well appointed. The aircon was very useful in the hot weather we had. We got the early check in, which I recommend as it’s easier to find a parking spot earlier in the day. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a free welcome drink. We will definately stay here again.”

“Beautiful, old building set in lovely gardens. There was a lot of open space and the accommodation was well spread out. It was nice to have a terrace to sit and enjoy a coffee. The Spa was very nice but I can imagine it gets very busy at certain times of the day. ”

“It’s a lovely hotel and a very peaceful place to stay in a beautiful setting. The room was so nice with a beautiful view of the gardens from it, and the bed was very comfortable as well. We used the sauna and in door pool which was nice and relaxing. We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely hotel. It’s full of character and charm too :) We enjoyed our relaxing break away from home very much. ”
