“A real find - clean room with plenty of space and a nice view of the gardens. The food was a real highlight - if i lived locally i would make a point of going there for a meal regularly. Breakfasts were fine - standard hotel stuff. All staff very friendly and helpful. ”

“Just stayed the one night, Wayne was very helpful on arrival. Great to have secure off road parking. The room was well equipped with all you would ever need. I am in the area again soon and will try and book a room here again.”

“I needed this place to stay overnight for work purposes. For that - and the price - it was perfectly fine. Room was clean, had tea / coffee making facilities - and the place was close to Blaby town centre. Place is undergoing restoration though - so parts of it are untidy; it doesn't look like the photo on the website. No breakfast. Receptionist Glen though was very helpful. Good communication. I would recommend this place for work purposes - it's functional - but would not recommend it for……

“First visit a welcome surprise with amenities provided. Ensuite was bigger than my bathroom. Bed comfy. Didn't hear other guests. Ample storage space for everything. Clean soft towels. My only bad comment would be the cups provided, I prefer mugs of tea or coffee. But now I know I'll bring my own, no probs.”

“Its a venue hotel , busy and noisy on Saturday nights til midnight. However the room had about 10 sockets. Bathroom was modern apart from dirty extractor fan. Staff were lovely, pub opposite looks neglected but great friendly crowd and staff , woluld stay again , not on a weekend though. ”

“While one could nit-pick (receptionist seemed surprised to have to explain the set-up to us, we'd never been before, broken light in the bedroom flashing and clicking, fan in the bathroom not working, whole place pretty shabby and tired-looking) nonetheless the bed was comfortable, the black-out was good, there was no road noise and the shower was smashing. Overall, amazing for the price. I'd go back.”
