“Last minute booking, so not much time researching. Room was small but clean, tea and coffee making facilities. Shower was good and. Could not hear the live band that was playing, but had some noise off the street. Would have scored more but the staff were a bit rude when I asked for extra pots of milk. Good location, only on street parking. ”

“This was our first visit to the hotel since it was refurbished. I’d saved up to take my husband there for his birthday treat. When we got there, we were so impressed and our room was lovely, apart from it feeling very warm. We realised that we were directly above the kitchen. It was really noisy, as the extractor fan was so noisy to the point that it felt like we were about to take off on an aeroplane ( and that is no exaggeration ) We were kept awake by the staff laughing outside and throwing……

“We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. “When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there.
