“I didn’t like the fact that I have to pay £5 to is the pool and gym facilities and an extra £3 for towel. That is ridiculous when it’s clearly advertised as part of the hotel facilities. If that isn’t part of the hotel why say you have pool and all that. It’s absurd charging extras to use those facilities when you’re clearly spending the night or 2 at the hotel. ”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……

“We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs.”

“First visit a welcome surprise with amenities provided. Ensuite was bigger than my bathroom. Bed comfy. Didn't hear other guests. Ample storage space for everything. Clean soft towels. “A stunning hotel with a lot of charm and character. Quiet and peaceful. Located about out the way but staff were wonderful and friendly. Nothing was too much if you asked them for anything. A wonderful place to stop. Every meal was lovely and I would recommend the food from the stone and ivy to anyone. ”
