“We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). “This is a 2 star hotel that looks a bit tired. Its within a very short walk of Arundel Railway station. The car park (free) is enormous and the setting is next to a very busy road, we had the "Large" room at the front and found the constant traffic intrusive. The bathroom had a small shower which was difficult to use, the manager had to come and apply force to get the shower running. Breakfast was good with a good selection.”

“Really good value stay in a beautiful country house full of history. We loved our room .. particularly the huge bed , which was in the main house. We ate dinner in the bar ( the restaurant menu was a bit too sophisticated for me!) and our burgers were delicious. The breakfast was very good indeed .. best scrambled eggs I have eaten! “I had a comfortable room. The standard sized double was fine for me and comfortable with decent sheets, pillows and duvet. It had a desk as well as a comfortable chair - always a bonus. Generous tea, and coffee with biscuits were welcome. The shower was an older Mira style over the bath but worked OK. I was slightly disappointed that no shower gel was provided. There is a bar of soap and shampoo provided however. Overall a perfectly fine stay for a decent price ”

“Easy check in and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room had pretty much anything you could wish for in it. Very well equipped room, lovely linen and a super comfy bed with different firmness of pillows. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, DAB radio, large TV, Dyson fan, Iron, Hairdrier, all great! Checkout was easy the next day. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer and made better use of everything. Many thanks! ”
