“This hotel is all about location. walking distance to everything you want to experience about French Quarter.--- Fresh Market, Frenchmen Street (which I loved- music, dancing, great restaurants). Bourbon Street (not so much- unless you're one of the young, obnoxious drunks), I would say this hotel would be a gem if the rooms were updated. a little paint and caulk would go a long way. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets had stains and holes. The tub and shower curtain had mildew,……

“Great place stay. Full kitchen, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Short, easy walk to French Quarter and numerous restaurants. One block from Louis Armstrong park. Easy spot to get picked up for Uber. There is parking for a fee. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean. Able to store luggage the day we were leaving.”

“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“The hotel was nice. Very good location to downtown, only a 5 minute ish walk to Bourbon. Our door kept getting stuck and we had to like put our shoulder into opening it. The shower floor was dirty. The parking was $25 a night.”
