“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Where do we start? Fabulous. We were very impressed with the staff. Alina was professional, polite and could not do enough to ensure our stay was what we had wanted and expected. When we arrived (during one of the hottest days this year) the fan in our room did not seem to work. We went down to report the issue at 5pm then never thought anymore as we went for dinner. Upon our return a beautiful, brand new, large fan was waiting. They had rushed out and managed to find one, which was amazing. ……

“The location, the staff, and the hotel were perfect for our last two nights in the U.K. On hindsight, I should have reserved a bigger room as the bed was full size and a little snug for two. We did request to change it and to our surprise we slept pretty well. The breakfast was excellent (lots of food) and the outdoor seating area and inside pub were very nice.”
