“A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”

“2nd time I’ve stayed here. First time for work. Second time, pleasure. Great atmosphere in the pub and restaurant. Good quality food and drinks. Excellent service. Well appointed. Love the converted stable block accommodation. Clean and well presented. ”

“Lovely room but pub was quite noisy until midnight. Cleaning was hit and miss - rug under bed was absolutely filthy - luckily there were slippers in the room! Breakfast was amazing though. The car park is very tight and through narrow roads with parked cars - I was fine but less confident drivers might struggle. ”
