“Me and my friend had an excellent stay for 3 nights. Perfect villa with pool view but quiet and private. The property i stunning. An hidden oasis! Great big pool. Perfect service, tasty food and drinks. And as a surprise they arranged poolside dinner for everyone one night and the cinema at the beach another night. We loved it! Perfect getaway from our busy lives! Not the best place for a swin in the ocean - it is posdible - and the hotel also provided free car transport to a better beach……

“Melia was a beautiful hotel with a very cosy room. The room was modern designed, private and was very comfortable. It offered the perfect solo retreat for me. A few observations, the level had signs that said adults only yet saw alot of children playing around the pool and breakfast there. 2ndly i think the front desk lady has to educate guests about the advantages of the level properly and not only the map of the premises. “We had a lovely stay at Kena beach hotel for 13 nights. Rooms was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and equipped with moskito net. Every evening the rooms are sprayed with bug spray. Little terasse outside with a rack to dry swimwear or other small things. All staff was super friendly and nice. Pool is covered with roof so it was not getting too hot, the sea was always very warm. There is also sun loungers and sofas both in sun and shade. We decided to take all-inclusive, which was fine, but……

“The place was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food was good however, we were given a room that had no working phone even though we booked months in advance. The food tasted great but sometimes the dinner was cold! The noise from the renovations was distracting and the closed off parts of the resort were an inconvenience as we were not able to fully enjoy the property. The staff however was superb!”

“Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. “Beach was attended to each day in front of the property,but everything to the left and right had a lot of trash.The description of the property on Expedia was misleading,They failed to mention the two properties are about a 100 yards apart.The rooms were misrepresented,one property is actually called the Beach Lounge which is the newer of the two properties.”
