“Even though the location is abit difficult to find, it is one of the best place to stay as the host is very nice and happy to serve us. We had a very good time experiencing the local culture. Very good experience. ”

“This resort is no longer open, however we were not notified by E prior to arriving onsite after booking well in advance. Luckily the staff were very nice and explained the situation, but we had to make last minute accommodations to stay elsewhere which was not fun after a long day of traveling. Lesson learned: either book directly or confirm bookings outside of Expedia since their notification system is not reliable.”

We traveled with our one and a half year old and we truly could’ve packed a sack of clothes for him and been aye okay during our stay here with all the great amenities they had stocked up. You could true heart and soul went into this property and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this is by far one of the best short term rentals we have ever stayed at! “We stayed 2 nights while exploring Volcanoes National Park. The park entrance is only a 20 minute or so drive away. There is nothing available in the immediate neighbourhood, but Hilo is also nearby (an amazing farmer's market also about 20 min drive away), so we thought the location was great. It was extremely quiet except for the coqui frogs at night, which we loved.
