“When I got checked into my room, I found out the air conditioner fan wasn't working. I went back down to the front desk. They immediately found me a new room (upgraded at no extra cost). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is not an elevator so that's a negative but I made it. Some great antique shops that are right there. ”

“This hotel was central for everything we were doing in Springfield. It was a good sized comfortable room which was quiet. We parked right by our entrance and i loved that there was an elevator and easy to find stairs. We will stay here again next trip.”

“The room is very nicely arranged and I really like that the couch is a kind of material that can be wiped off. Very well thought out space. Very short stay. Did not use the desk, dining counter, or kitchen space. The TV in our king room is hung in an awkward position, and is too large in the space it is in. So it doesn't angle correctly for watching in bed. It was also crooked, making it look precarious, but it seemed secure. The bed is very firm. Neither myself, nor my companion, slept well……

“What a fun place to stay. Built in the 1890s with beautiful Victorian architecture and charm. We enjoyed a walk around the gorgeous forest flanked lake. Tastefully has modern conveniences. Located near town. Highly recommend. ”

“I was a little skeptical when booking because of the low price of a suite. I mean, we all know the pictures are always way better than in person. I was completely caught off guard when I opened the door to find a beautiful, clean two story room. The two king beds were quite comfortable and did I already mention that it was clean? “We liked our spacious king suite with small kitchen. The breakfast as pretty typical but served in a large un-decorated room with coffee & juice down the hall.
