“Very nice ”

“We stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend from Emory & Henry. It’s a bit of a ways to campus, but that worked fine for us. The place is beautifully appointed, incredibly comfy mattresses, and an amazing location with the sound of the river flowing all around. The gravel driveway is a bit rustic by most peoples standards, I think, but I grew up on a farm and this one was much better maintained than that. Just know that the last stretch of the drive will be going very slowly.The hot tub was……

“Well... it's just the truth in 2025. While this cottage is beautiful, and a peaceful respite in a town that has recently experienced the ravages of Hurricane Helene... be forewarned... you will find yourself surrounded by the MAGA faithful at this location. Expect the oversized flags... pit bulls... run down properties... and plenty of divisive pronouncements from the bumpers of pickup trucks. With that said... I never felt threatened by it... and openly walked through all of it, into town and……

“Had everything we needed. 2 comfortable beds, an adequate kitchen (could use a few more utensils) and a clean environment. The road was a little noisy but enough to stop us from going back. ”

“We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.”

“House is beautiful and absolutely perfect for 6 ladies.Loved the location & walkability to the town.Plenty of supplies available, although soap was missing from Master bathroom.Took us 35 minutes to find the home.Check in instructions say 231 NE Valley Sr.In actuality it is NW. Would have been easier to say corner of Valley & Reservior street.No communication from host,despite messaging x 2.Carport was big enough for 3 cars.No checkout info provided.”
