“My husband, parents, our 2 pups and I, all stayed in this comfortably quaint home just for one night. We were on our way back to Ohio from Oak Island, NC, and it was a lovely middle point to rest for the night. Laura was very accommodating to allow us to bring our 2 pups who travel with us everywhere. She was also kind to let us check-in a little early as we made good time. “Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested……

“My mother and I wanted to visit the town where she was born and look for some clues to fill in the gaps in her family tree recording. This location was perfect, conveniently a block or so off of the main street but the trees and landscaping made it feel remote and secluded.
