“It was a nice stay in your hotel but my only complaint is when I booked my stay it was quoted in Canadian dollars when I got there it was charged in American currency so my $220 stay costs me $400 plus dollars for a one night stay ”

“Concourse Deli right next door for food and drink after the ball games. Open 24 hours for late night or early morning food. Will stay there again.”

“Had a great experience. Cant beat the price. Everything was up to par. I would add another small bedside table on the other side of the bed though. Also a shower mat for the bathroom floor. Definitely gave apartment vibes. ”

“I read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. ”

“Great location and staff”

“Great location for a visit to family. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. My room was small, but really just right for a visit, good storage and lighting. Very close to the railroad tracks, but I never heard a thing. The restaurant was opening the day after I left so I can’t comment but I did see the space and it’s just beautiful. The restaurant still managed to serve breakfast and that worked out just fine. I strongly recommend Voco Astoria. ”
