“Property, like most in GOTL is old but it was clean, which is my goal. Shower was a little tricky as we couldn’t seem to get the water in the middle, was a little too hot or too cold but we made it work. I mean it’s two day stay not a lifetime commitment. FYI..I didn’t see any air conditioners down in the main room so that might be something to ask about if you want it cold and are staying in summer heat, it is entirely possible that they took them out since it is fall and end is season. “This little place was perfect and exactly as described and pictured. A lovely quiet private stay. The cleanliness and feel of the home was beyond compare. I was perfectly comfortable and had everything I needed. Far away enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough if you need anything or want to see the sites. The bathroom was fabulous! Overall a getaway I will want to repeat! ”

“This was the fourth year my family has stayed at the Stone Cottage Inn, and we're already booked for next year. Perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms for eight of us. The rustic charm is definitely its selling point. We love staying here and hope to continue for years to come.”

“Kristen's carriage house was perfect for us as we were in town for the Clinic. It is so close that we took a Lyft car anywhere we went, including downtown. The carriage house was quiet and in a nice area to walk. We discovered the Lakeview Cemetery and the Garfield Monument for an excellent hike. Kristen has furnished the carriage house with comfy furniture and beds, along with high end appliances and electronics. Highly recommend!”

“This is by far the best place we have stayed. Room for six of us to sleep, eat and enjoy the backyard, the house is spotless, well maintained and beautifully appointed. The view from the house and yard of the Lake is breathtaking. We played cornhole, made smores, and all settled in for a late night movie together. Very special place that helped make a special weekend spectacular. Thank you to Linda and Scott!”
