“We stayed for 2 nights and had the best time - The room was lovely and spacious with everything we could need in there - the lovely shower was fantastic too (not one of those that hardly wets you that you find in some places!) We ate from the lunchtime menu not long after we arrived and had a salad later in the evening - bot delicious and really fresh. “This inn was right by the road between Oxford and Chippenham, and has a very cool history. It has a beautiful garden in the back that connects to a path connecting to 2 small towns. There are also other paths nearby that you can go to explore. The food here was really good and the room was very spacious compared to other places we've been! The only caveat is that we can hear the cars passing by faintly while sleeping. It's not a big deal at all for us but just a note for those who are very……

“Friendly staff but room a little cramped and did not expect wash basin in bedroom with toilet behind a rickety sliding door. Breakfast was very poor with little choice, not restocked, teas and coffees in a flask that was cold, also run out of fruit juice. ”
