“Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. “It’s the car parking that closes at 11pm - you have to pay for the car parking. There isn’t any sign anywhere to direct you to where you have to park. That is the only reason I won’t be going back - everything else was amazing. ”

“Excellent hospitality, comfort and luxury. All the staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The rooms had everything you needed, and the beds were very comfortable. “Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return and actually make use of the facilities, we just didn't have the time. There were just a few minor feedback points that I hope are helpful. I don't drink coffee or caffeine and I used my own as the selection was limited. Also there was no milk option for coffee, in the room. “What a gem of a find! Lovely hotel, recently refurbished from derelict and oh my what a wonderful job they have done! Decor is bright and clean. Amazing view of the bay from the huge lounge window. “We had the most amazing stay at gara rock . The place is beautiful and set in amazing beachside settings with breathtaking views. Everything is exceptional, the hotel, the setting, the food and the staff. They really made the stay fantastic as they went above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure you have the best stay. They were so friendly and helpful every single one of them. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be returning! ”
