“We just stayed at the Headlands, it was amazing! I had read reviews and they recommended the top floor and they were right our room was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and an amazing view of haystack rock and the beach from our ocean front balcony. The Meridian Restaurant was fantastic and Pelican brewery shares a parking lot with the lodge. 10 out of 10 We would definitely stay again! ”

“This property is undergoing extensive renovations (May 2025) but even with this disruption our stay was very pleasant. Close to the beach and several nice restaurants and a cafe made our visit pleasant and easy. The view from our room was lovely and the balcony was a terrific place for breakfast, lunch and dinner which we enjoyed as takeout from nearby Ben & Jeff's Burgers and Tacos, which we highly recommend. Our room had a few problems: 1) The bathroom door would not close completely, 2)……

Room was very clean, they utilize the Roku guest feature so you login with your own services and it will automatically log you out on your checkout time. Would highly recommend staying here ”

“Overall, very nice location and right on the beach. The one thing that was a little disappointing was the sand build up due to the winds. We were unable to use the hot tub, or the deck because it was covered in sand, drifting sand. Reminded me of snowdrifts, but only with sand. Could not see out the windows when we first got there because the sand had completely covered the windows. Got out the next morning and found a hose buried under about a foot of sand and rinsed the windows off. The sand……
