“Not a big fan of the bare concrete decor or of the open bathroom but otherwise we loved this hotel. Room was well-equipped and there was a great view from the narrow roof terrace. Staff on reception were very helpful. Breakfasts were freshly made from high quality ingredients - particularly liked the Caju Bowl. Location was great”

“A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff . All areas are spotless and rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and there is one heated pool . Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! ”
