“This is my favorite of all the places we stayed in our 2 week tour of Morocco. The multilingual staff is the absolute best; offering advice on where to go and what to see complete with maps, buying spices for us in the market to ensure we paid an appropriate price, making reservations, ordering takeout for us one night when we were too exhausted to go back out and welcoming us “home” at the end of a long day exploring. “My wife and I have recently returned from a 1 week holiday in Marrakech staying the Les Borjs. The riad is owned by Tom and Nora, who have spent a considerable time getting the riad to the very high standard that it is. We were greeted at the desk and taken through to the court yard where we had our first mint tea and Moroccan pastries/biscuits. What a greeting! “What an AMAZING riad! Tucked away in a maze of traditional medina alleyways, the large door swings open to an oasis. Soft lighting and the smell of orange blossoms greet you as warmly as the staff who open the door. Naoual, the manager, was so kind and helpful to me. From having a staff person escort me to my pickup location for a pre-dawn excursion to scheduling hammam and dinner, to arranging transfer to the airport - her attention was top-tier. Whenever I saw the staff there were smiles,……
