“We only spent one night at the new margaritaville in KC but we instantly felt like we were on island time upon arrival. Check in was quick (room was even ready a couple of hours early), rooms are spacious and designed well for functionality, and the pool area was amazing even on a packed day. The pool bar is large however it seemed like they didn’t have enough staff for a busy day and it took a while to get served. Drinks were delish though. “The room wasn't clean. We mopped the floor and it was so dirty the water looked like chocolate milk. It smelled and the cabinets were falling apart. It's like the picture on the website was their best room and the rest are in the slums. The elevator was filthy and going up 3 floor between 1 and 2 floors the elevator drops a little and scares you unti thinking it's going to fall. Staff was nice, but clearly this place is trying to improve, but I feel like i was mislead that this place was clean……
