“Aivan loistava huoneisto. Kun saavuttiin paikalle, meitä oltiin vastassa ja saatiin kattava esittely huoneistosta. Huoneisto sijaitsee noin kilometrin päässä Funchalin keskustasta korkealla kattojen yllä. Aamuisin oli ihanaa seurata kaupungin heräämistä, sillä näkymä oli huikea kaupungin yli, merelle saakka. Ainoa huomionarvoinen asia on se, että tie keskustaan on alamäkeä ja takaisin jyrkkää nousua. Menimme kävellen keskustaan ja tulimme toisinaan taksilla takaisin ylös, joka maksoi keskustasta……

“Everything was great. My room was clean and quite big. Bed was very comfortable. Service was excellent. They acoomodated me for a really late check in as my plane got delayed. Breakfast was really good and the grounds around the hotel were a beautiful garden.”

“Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything available on site, but also very easy walking distance to Funchal centre. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was wonderful & breakfast was a delicious choice of fresh & cooked food. We would highly recommend this hotel & will definitely be back. It was my partners birthday while we were in Madeira & despite us not announcing this in any way, he was presented with a birthday……
