“This hotel was vey horrible. The bed and quilt and bed are full of stain. The room, corridor and carpet are very dirty, they are full of sour smell (like vomit after drunk), the heater and exhaust fan are dusty, and a lot of louse and ants. 100% not recommend!!!!”

“Property in location very near city centre, communication with agent excellent, property does require some minor maintenance which the agent accepted and said they would address ( cracked floor tiles kitchen area, fridge door does not close properly, some stains on carpet area). Overall a good property in a great location.”

“Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”

“If you are not good at climbing stairs, or if you are carrying 2 or 3 suitcase with you, never book a room at 1st floor . My experience is that, after I have brought the suitcase up the narrow and winding staircase, I need to take a two-hour rest before I can have the courage to think about going out. Other than that, the hotel is comfortable.”

“Excellent hotel”

“Everything was perfect. The apartment was cleann, spacious and comfortable. The box of York goodies was a welcome suprise. The apartment is a five minute from the Railway station which is extremely convenient. It's also very close to the City centre, tha Minster and loads of attractions. ”

“Interesting and eclectic hotel in an ideal location in the wonderful city of York. Parking was a challenge though, and warnings about street noise were warranted. not recommended for anyone with accessibility challenges.”
