“The hotel has old world charm but not stuffy. It's located in a busy part of the city right next to a train station, but inside is very quiet and serene; no noise penetrated into our room. Lots of flowers, both fresh and artificial, adorn the lobby and hallways. The breakfast was amazing--great selection of hot foods, cold meats, breads, fruits, fruit juices, etc, and breakfast staff was gracious and attentive. The only negative comment I have is that the pictures in the hallway on our floor……

“First of all, it’s amazing! The stay is wonderful and it started with warm and welcoming staff at reception. She explained a lot and helped us on early check in. We got welcome drinks and also soft drink credits (this is from Expedia). She also helped to upgrade my parents room to a supreme and spacious room! We love it. Everyday we got night snack and wine/water in the room. The location is great and I will definitely stay in the future. When we checkout day, gentleman in the front desk helped……

“The hotel team are excellent - always smiling and kind. The receptionists were very helpful in recommending places and provided adaptors for our chargers. The restaurant team provided us with ice and pot of water to use in our room. Unfortunately the room is very small with no kettle, or small fridge, and no space to sit around comfortably. The restaurant barmen, provided ice and also pot of hot water for us to bring into our room as a solution. luckily there is an outdoor garden seating……

“The hotel was very cozy and right away as you walked in the temperature was a relief from the heat outside. Fresh water and snacks were offered which was amazing! The rooms were beautiful. Big beds with a large TV on the wall and on the second floor you had floor to ceiling windows in the room and bathroom that open like doors - very chique. The room and hotel was very clean, quiet and the views from the room were nice - out to see Rossio Square. We had an issue with the AC in the room and as it……
