“We enjoyed our stay and received great value for the accommodations. The staff checking in and checking out were great. The property is not as close to the check-in location as I thought but that was okay because it was situated in a very quiet place up on the mountain per se. My only negative is the amenities fee charged for my one-night stay in which I really cannot use. Check-in time is 4 and the pools, mini-golf, games, etc close at 5. By the time one checks in, drives to the unit and then……

“The owners and our wonderful breakfast maker are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It's a very nice place to stay while enjoying the many hikes in the area (Rainbow Falls, etc.). Comfort was great except that our room and bathroom were a bit crowded for my husband who is larger. The walls are thin if you have neighbors. The facilities are relaxing and nice. We enjoyed a nice (expensive) Italian meal at a fine restaurant next door. ”

“The only problem that we had was the first unit they sent us to was not ready. The bed wasn’t made, the patio to the balcony was open, and there were spiders in the jacuzzi tub. But when staff was notified they rectified the problem. Other than that minor minor and yes I meant to say it twice because it wasn’t horrible. But other than that we had a marvelous time. We will be coming back. It will be me and my woman’s getaway spot. Thanks again!!!!!”

“The Windy Hill Lodge was even better than the pictures and Susan & Iric were so kind and helpful!We love the NC mountains and the Cashiers / Sapphire / Toxaway area seem to have an endless amount of great trails and beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend this property to everyone. ”

“Remarkable stay in well-appointed stay with family and pet. The setting for the water garden to the outdoor fire pit and two open decks and hot tub to the tasteful furnishing fully equipped was a delight. Cooking, entertaining and for last minute items a short distance to nearest grocery. Highly recommend.”
