“The house is large and very beautiful with historic features and charm, overlooking rolling hills. There are very serene pastures surrounding it with charming stone walls. We even saw somewild turkeys on the fields while we were there :). It’s very remote and secluded so you have to make sure you have provisions and gas before you go. The host explained that beforehand and was very responsive. There are no curtains anywhere, which you don’t need for privacy but be prepared to be up at the……

With most stores more than a half-hour away, we took advantage of the large versatile farmhouse kitchen when preparing our meals; which were needed after the 2-mile round-trip……
