“Unique two story suite - worked well for us. Good kitchen with full size refrigerator. Hotel is very conveniently located. Only issue was it is classified as long term - so no cleaning during stay. Nice courtyard area. Free coffee in morning. Friendly staff”

“This place was absolutely lovely! Family like environment and amazing customer service. Rooms were great, beds were comfortable. Very very clean. Had a pool with an amazing view over the river. 10/10 will be booking with them every time we come to Charleston. ”

“The room wasn’t 100% clean. There wasn’t a latch to lock the door so I had to put the table in front of the door for extra protection. The towels are all stained (I brought my own so I didn’t use them) there was dirt build up in the corners of the room. Housekeeping came pounding on the door at 9 when checkout is at 11 so that was kind of frustrating. The staff member that checked me in was nice the one i checked out with was on the rude side. But you get what you pay for. Also, there’s a pool……

“The Restoration was a great place to stay in Charleston. Loved the breakfast basket delivered to our door. The 2 bedroom suite was quite large and comfortable. The bathrooms were worn and the need of cleaning and renovations. The hotel is located close to everything. ”

“This is a beautiful property managed by lovely people. Service is impeccable from Jay the doorman to the lobby to the ladies that clean our rooms. Exceptionally clean, so comfortable. One of my guests decided just to sleep the day away in that comfortable bed. There is an activity throughout the day from the wonderful breakfast to cookies and cream at night I highly recommend and I look forward to returning to Charleston and staying in at this beautiful hotel.”

“We really love the convenience of the property and the history of the building. The staff was wonderful, and the rooms were clean with the exception of the shower, which has a bit of mold which we brought to their attention.”

“For the money, it's a safe and secure buy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and spacious. Like other guests, we used Lyft/Uber to get around Charleston and avoided the hassle of urban traffic and parking. Our one major complaint was the shower. You had to reach in to turn it on, so you were soaked with cold water before it warmed up. Very, very poor design.”
