“A quintessential 150-year-old hotel in the heart of Manitou Springs, the hotel was recently renovated and has modern amenities in its rooms. Our room, unfortunately, overlooked the back side of the hotel with a view of a hillside a few feet from our bedroom windows. We did not feel safe opening the windows at night for fresh air. “Our one night stay was fine. Only complaint is that we couldn’t get out of the parking lot deep in the bowels of the building when departing the next morning. So we returned to the front desk and discovered that our ticket that we needed to activate the lifting of the barrier didn’t work because it needed to be validated. We just didn’t know this.”
