“We were unable to contact to let them know our time of arrival as nobody answered the phone. When we arrived nobody from the hotel was there so we called the number on the door which was answered. After a short while somebody turned up to let us in ,but there was some confusion over the booking as the diary was not available, however we were shown up to our room via an outside metal staircase. On the plus side, our room was very nice,clean and in good decorative order.. when we vacated there was……

“I was staying so I could visit family in Bittaford and Ivybridge so location for me was brilliant. It’s a nice little inn with lots of character and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again definitely. ”

“Beautiful setting, fab Breakfast and very friendly staff. Few areas of the accommodation not cleaned, very dusty mirror going up the stairs, in the bedroom sticky substance on the dresser in front of coffe maker. Window sills dusty/dirty when wiped with tissue. Minor issues but for the price charged expected perfection. Would I stay again yes, but food in restaurant pricey for what it is so probably would not eat in again.”

“Had an amazing stay. The setting is incredible and they make the most of it. Each and every member of staff was very warm, friendly, super helpful and professional- they made it a great experience. Very dog friendly too which actually had such a nice atmosphere to it- without feeling at all like a doggie daycare. Highly recommended!”

“Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service……
