“We were told upon arrival that they had another tenant and tbat tbey do not us VRBO anymore, so we were without a place to stay.”

The location was perfect - central, seconds from the sea and near to all of our planned activities. The communal areas were fantastic, especially the large dining area. “Wir (Mein Mann, ich und unsere drei Töchter, davon ein Teenager und zwei erwachsen) waren über Silvester in diesem schönen Cottage. Die Lage war perfekt, ruhig, aber die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, ein Waitrose und ein Tesco Express ebenfalls. Dazu organisiert der Vermieter im Vorhinein einen überwachten Parkplatz, der nur 200 m entfernt ist, so dass man sich darum nicht kümmern muss. Bei der Ausstattung hat nichts gefehlt, alles war wie beschrieben bzw. noch besser……

“The owner was unaware of our booking as advertised by vrbo. We arrived mid afternoon at portsmouth to attend my son's university graduation, but had no where to stay. We had to take our luggage to the ceremony and carry it to different locations during the event. My two daughters and myself had no car with us and mo extra money to pay for accomodation elsewhere, or even transport to a different property. We were left stranded in a strange city with no money and no where to stay the night. Vrbo……
