“We stayed at the property for 10 days and absolutely loved it. There is a sense of peace and serenity that overwhelms you as you sit in the house and watch the deer wander by in the morning. My wife didn't want to leave! While technically a "Tiny House", we found it to be very comfortable and well designed. We even hosted Christmas Eve dinner for 8 guests (we ate outside at two table from the property) and had no problems. Which brings me to my review.... The house is very well stocked……

Great little spot in Bandera for a solo traveler or couple, worked a day and a half remotely and the wifi was adequate. Only complaint is the size of the mini hot water heater - not enough for more than a 5 minute shower. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Bavarian Cottage @ Home Away Ranch. Enjoyed watching all of the animals but especially the little piggy and the goats that came to visit us daily. The Bavarian Cottage has an amazing deck to enjoy and great view of the horses and playground. Hosts Micky and Vicky were great and sent us a text upon our arrival to see if we needed anything and were very responsive. We stayed here while visiting family in San Antonio and we will definitely stay again during future visits!”

“Loved this house! If you are looking to be within walking distance of San Antonio this is not the place. It’s about a 10-20 mins drive to downtown depending on traffic. It worked perfect for us as we were with 3 other families and needed a place to stay for a cheer competition The backyard is beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting outside visiting.
