“Nice country pub room was clean and comfortable with ensuite. Staff are great and the pub has a nice relaxed feel with a bar area used by the locals (Friendly) with everything you want from a country pub. Restaurant area separate from the pub with a good varied menu.the food I had was great and good value for money. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”

“Very good hotel in the centre of Dunster so didn’t need to move the car for the whole weekend. We were able to park our car in the hotel’s car park at back of property. Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked, The owners were very friendly & helpful”

The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom 3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely quiet peaceful break with lovely walks right on your doorstep.. we will be back for sure ”

“A lovely property with stunning clifftop views. We had a spacious bedroom with an unbelievable view of Lynmouth and the sea. Breakfast was included and lots of choice. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay in the Rock House. Checked in at the sister hotel The Rising Sun just over the bridge. Perfect location wise to explore Lynemouth, lovely sea view, bar with beer garden, clean room and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend”
