“The Chestnut Cove Cottage is in a fabulous location with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cove is beautiful and peaceful. The dock allows for jumping into swimmable water. There is a small sandy spit to walk into the water, very suitable for the young and fit middle aged.The house is spacious with a large sitting room with a wide screen TV. “The cabin is so cute and cozy! Very comfortable. We slept great! The neighbors were very friendly and even invited us over! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The lake beach were amazing! We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The hosts are easy to contact. We will stay again! Love love the location! The only downside is there is no lake view from the cottage like we thought but easy lake access. We did not use the hot tub, washer/dryer or fire pit but those are great amenities! This place has……

“We had a lovely visit in Wilton and were granted the special privilege of seeing and hearing the waterfall and associated pools fill up with water overnight due to heavy thunder showers after a long dry spell. Magical, indeed.Cottage is a special little place! We hope to be back at another time of year.”

“The home is perfect for a small family, looking for a lakeside getaway. The lake was gorgeous with crystal clear water and sandy bottom, perfect for any and all water activities. The host was very welcoming and responsive. The host even included a binder with the locations for grocery stores, hiking, activities etc. which was exceptionally useful. Would 1000% reccomend this property/host to everyone!”

“We had an amazing time! Property was beautiful, secluded and peaceful. I loved that I was able to bring my beagle who I have never seen so happy and in his element. Lake water was warm and fishing was great. I highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful vacation spot.”

“Beautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed. I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game. Other than that, we had a great stay.”
