“This is a charming little place with tons of character. There’s a calmness to the house that makes it easy to relax. It is pet friendly and we were thrilled to be able to take our pup with us. It’s convenient to everything you want to do in the area. Rena is a great host, quick replies to questions, and really wants her guests to have a great visit to Southport. I highly recommend staying here on a trip to Southport. ”

"During our stay, the elevator was completely out of service, and we had to climb the stairs many times. In the breakfast room, one of the younger waiters had a very bad attitude and was extremely slow, except for one staff member who was fine. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here—you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a train all night."
